Some projects begin with a very precise idea, while others emerge slowly, almost without warning. Élixirs de Lune is one of those.
Initially, I simply wanted to create something that brought together several things I love: comforting drinks, beautiful atmospheres, magical worlds, and that little sense of magic one can sometimes find in the simplest things.
A warm cup, a few spices, flowers, fruits, soft lighting… and suddenly, preparing a drink can become a true little ritual.
This is how Élixirs de Lune was born. 🌙
✦ MORE THAN JUST A RECIPE BOOK
I didn't want to create a book that was merely a succession of recipes.
I wanted each drink to have a name, an ambiance, and an identity, as if each belonged to a different small world.
Throughout the pages, you will discover gentle drinks to start the day, infusions inspired by plants and flowers, creamy creations, fresh and sparkling drinks, mocktails inspired by the sky and stars, as well as more comforting elixirs to end the day.
Each section has its own atmosphere, but all are linked by the same universe: that of the moon, dreams, and softness.
✦ A BOOK TO ADMIRE AS MUCH AS TO USE
The visual aspect also plays a very important role in this project.
I wanted to be able to open Élixirs de Lune simply for the pleasure of browsing its pages, observing the illustrations, and rediscovering the magical atmosphere that accompanies each recipe.
Colors, flowers, stars, crystals, moons, and small decorative details are therefore an integral part of the experience.
My wish is for the book to find its place in a kitchen, of course, but also on a bookshelf or a table, like a beautiful object that one enjoys picking up from time to time.
✦ A TOUCH OF MAGIC IN THE ORDINARY
Élixirs de Lune does not seek to make every cup complicated.
On the contrary.
The idea is to show that with a few ingredients, a pretty glass or a beloved cup, and a few minutes dedicated to oneself, something very ordinary can become a special moment.
Because it's not always necessary to go far to escape.
Sometimes, all it takes is a drink, a little calm… and a touch of dream.

The book is gradually taking shape, recipe after recipe, illustration after illustration.
And I also want to share this part of the adventure here, in the Journal: the project's progress, behind-the-scenes of its creation, certain pages, the publication steps, and everything that will progressively lead Élixirs de Lune to its final version.
